Al-Baghdadi releases rare audio message, calls for attacks on Turkey and Iraq

Message claims “Jews, Christians, atheists, Shiites, apostates, infidels” dedicate media, army and munitions to “fights Muslims and jihadists”

ISIS released a rare audio message from its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi this week, the message declaring victory in Mosul as well as calling on militants to fight in Iraq and to invade Turkey. The message was entitle “This is what God and his Messenger have promised us”.

The message was released by ISIS’s media wing al-Furqan and is the first known message or recorded released by al-Baghdadi since the end of 2015.

The ISIS leader called on Syria and Hezbollah to attack and kill Turkish soldiers and to turn Turkey into a “flaming war zone”.

The half hour recording claims that “Total war and the great Jihad is waged by the Islamic State today, with Allah’s help we amplify our strong belief that everything is dedicated to the great victory. It is a sign heralding the victory that Allah revealed is assured to His followers…God’s enemies from the Jews, Christians, atheists, Shiites, apostates and all of the world’s infidels have dedicated their media, money, army and munitions to fight Muslims and jihadists in the State of Nineveh [Mosul] after they witnessed it become one of the bases of Islam and one of its minarets under the Caliphate.”

The recording claims that the “infidels” kills ISIS militant’s women and children and calls on ISIS fighters to “Completely destroy their [infidels] homes and make their blood flow in rivers.”
