IDF raids and closes Palestinian radio station in Hevron over incitement

IDF raids Al-Hurriya station Tuesday night, gives 6-month closure; Terrorist from stabbings in Rishon LeTzion Hevron resident


IDF forces raided the Palestinian radio station Al-Hurriya Tuesday night, confiscating equipment and shutting the station down for broadcasting incitement. The station has been calling for violence and terror attacks on Israeli citizens, encouraging stabbings and vandalism.

Al-Hurriya was issued a 6-month closure.

There have been numerous attacks by Palestinians in Hevron in the past month, the IDF working closely with Israel’s internal security agencies to maintain calm and proactively foil attacks and violence. In the past month, there have been 22 stabbings in the Hevron region.

On Tuesday afternoon in Rishon LeTzion, a terrorist from Hevron stabbed three Israelis, one of the victims a 80-year old woman. On Tuesday evening, a 71-old man was stabbed in Netanya. The terrorist was shot and arrested by Israel police.
