A Palestinian terrorist from East Jerusalem wounded two Israeli border police in Jerusalem when he ran his car into the. The incident took place at the entrance to the Mount of Olives Wednesday morning.

Both border police were rushed to nearby hospitals, the male officer suffering from minor wounds and the female with light-moderate wounds.

The terrorist targeted the border police at the At-Tur Junction who were performing security checks. After hitting them with the car, he continued to reverse the car and attempt to hit more people, but was shot by the police.

The terrorist, Amran Abu Dhaim, 41, later died from his wounds.

Jerusalem has placed high security warnings, specifically at checkpoints.
