Israel is experiencing a heat wave Monday, with four fires already in northern Israel. Dozen of firefighter teams were rushed to the areas where fires broken out to contain them.

As a result of the heat wave, Israeli police and firefighter forces are on high alert.

Temperatures are expected to get as high as 42 (107) degrees into Tuesday afternoon, Tel Aviv currently at 38 degrees (100.4).

Following 2010 Mt. Carmel forest fire in which 44 died, mostly police and rescue team first responders, Israel has improved its fire fighting abilities and training of firemen.
