Two IDF soldiers stabbed in West Bank

One soldier to undergo surgery, the second with light wounds; Perpetrator killed on the scene

Two IDF soldiers were stabbed in the West Bank Wednesday morning. The attack occurred near the Sinjil Junction north of Ramallah, one of the soldiers in serious condition with the second with light wounds.

The Palestinian responsible for the attack was killed at the scene by IDF soldiers.

Both of the soldiers were treated by Magen David Adom paramedics on the scene then rushed to the Shaara Zedek trauma unit.

According to reports from medical staff, one of the soldiers was stabbed in the neck and head and will undergo surgery, the second with light stab wounds to the back.

IDF and security forces have been on high alert in the West Bank and Jerusalem over the Passover week-long holiday due to security concerns.
