During an interview for Palestinian television, Palestinian Authority Chief negotiator Saeb Erekat compared Prime Minister Netanyahu to the head of the Islamic State terror organization.

Erekat, who has was the chief negotiator in the last round of failed talks between the Palestinians and Israel last year asked the interviewer “What’s the difference between Benjamin Netanyahu and IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi?” answering “one claims he is the head of the Islamic State, while Netanyahu claims he is the head of the Jewish State.”

Erekat went on to compare the killing of Muhammed Khdeir by settlers during Operation Brother’s Keeper in June of 2014 to ISIS terrorists stating, “What’s the difference between a terrorist criminal who beheads foreign journalists in Iraq and Syria, and a criminal who pours gasoline on a 16-year-old teenager, Muhammed Abi Khdeir, and burns him to death?… Extremism is blind, and does not belong to one religion.”
